Biographical Profile
Dr. Anurag Mehrotra’s profile is not only the story of a senior interventional cardiologist. It is the story of a doctor who built an institution, shaped cardiac care in Western Uttar Pradesh, and gradually expanded his work from treating disease to preventing it in society.
The main story
Trained at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Dr. Mehrotra completed MBBS, MD in Medicine and DM in Cardiology before building a career in which clinical judgement, procedural skill and patient trust became the central pillars.
As Founder and Chief Cardiologist of Siddh Multispeciality Hospital, he helped create a 200-bed healthcare institution known for cardiac and critical care, high clinical standards, advanced treatment capability and a culture where the patient’s long-term outcome matters more than short-term intervention.
Over time, his work has moved beyond the cath lab. NCD prevention, CPR training, Hospital on Wheels, TV panels, civic engagement, foundation work and ecological conservation together present him as a clinician with a larger societal canvas.
On public duty
“A doctor’s responsibility does not end with a prescription. It extends to awareness, prevention and the community that places its trust in him.”
— Dr. Anurag Mehrotra

Clinical Leadership
Dr. Mehrotra’s clinical identity is rooted in interventional cardiology, but his larger strength is decision-making: knowing when to intervene, how urgently to act, and how to guide families with honesty during the most stressful moments of care.

On cardiology
“In cardiology, time is not an abstract idea. It is heart muscle. A timely decision can change the story of an entire family.”

Patient Promise
The clinical promise is deliberately simple: careful evaluation, timely action, clear communication and treatment decisions guided by long-term patient benefit.
Societal Leadership
The societal side of Dr. Mehrotra’s work is subtle but important: he uses the credibility of a clinician to build public confidence, train first responders, engage institutions and make prevention part of everyday civic conversation.

For Dr. Mehrotra, CPR awareness is not an event; it is a public skill that can decide whether a life is saved before an ambulance arrives.

His sessions focus on making people act, not just listen — showing them what to do, what to notice and when to seek urgent help.

By working with police, civic bodies, associations and community groups, he turns healthcare into a shared responsibility, not a hospital-only service.

The public presence is understated but consistent: a physician using his credibility to build trust around health, prevention and civic wellbeing.
NCD Elimination Mission
Dr. Mehrotra’s NCD mission connects his work as a cardiologist with a larger public-health idea: lifestyle diseases should be identified early, explained simply and addressed before they become heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure or lifelong disability.

A simple but powerful prevention language: know your BP, sugar, BMI, waist, habits and risk score before disease becomes an emergency.

A mobile healthcare platform that takes diagnostics, counselling and early risk detection to people who may otherwise delay care.

A ward-wise, community-facing model that makes prevention visible — not as a lecture, but as a door-to-door health movement.
On lifestyle diseases
“Lifestyle diseases do not arrive suddenly. They build quietly. Our mission is to help people notice the numbers before the emergency arrives.”
— Dr. Anurag Mehrotra
Media & Thought Leadership
Dr. Mehrotra’s media presence should feel clear and responsible: he interprets health issues without exaggeration, explains risk without fearmongering, and brings the authority of clinical practice into public conversation.

Ecological Conservation
The conservation section gives the profile a more human and statesmanlike dimension. It presents Dr. Mehrotra as someone whose idea of responsibility goes beyond medicine into ecology, biodiversity, culture and civic consciousness.

Through foundation-led and community-facing work, this pillar connects wildlife conservation, biodiversity, man-animal conflict awareness and the preservation of natural ecosystems.
Recognition
The awards and fellowships matter, but the stronger story is continuity: years of clinical work, institution-building, public trust, community engagement and a reputation that extends across medical, civic and social platforms.
